Early Learning Centre
Our Early Learning Centre exists to provide safe, secure childcare with meaningful, age appropriate activities for children ages 18 months until their first day of Grade 1. We are licensed for the care of a total of 27 childcare spaces.

We believe in fostering the growth of the whole child – emotionally, physically, socially and intellectually. The Early Learning Centre’s programming encourages children to explore the world around them in a fun, safe and stimulating environment and to become independent learners. Children at the Early Learning Centre are placed in Family Grouping. Each group has it’s own “Animal Name” and shares very different developmental needs from each other, these being fine & gross motor, cognitive, sensory/tactile, self-help, social/playskills. We have created a daily schedule where all children regardless of age group, have opportunities to play in learning centres, participate in arts & crafts, literacy, science & nature, gross motor, cooperative play and other sensory stimulation activities that have been designed to be developmentally appropriate for all. . The groups also periodically will participate in field trips and presentations. Some activities may not be appropriate for every group to participate in because the activity may target a specific goal shared only by one age group (Circle Time/Nap Time). Therefore, we have planned our daily schedule to include room for activities to be completed only by certain age groups that may be done in a space without the rest of the group.
